Hi, I am starting over a new flock of chickens. And wanted them to free range but was wondering if there is certain breeds that are better for free ranging? Wondering what your thoughts are? Thank you!!
Okay, thank you I looked for mites and did not see anything. What is a good way to look for parasites? If they are eating their feathers for protein, what should I be giving them? Right now, I am feeding them Country Companion Layer Pellets and then they are eating grass. Thank you!!
Sometimes they are up in the nesting boxes but then that is where their food is, and I have never really heard these hens squawk much. And I guess I really haven't been paying much attention if they are puffed up, I will have to look. Is there anything you can do to help it get better?
just tried renaming it and still did not do anything. I took the pictures with a cell phone and am using a computer, I sent the pictures from the cell phone to the computer and then downloaded them
