My15Ducks I candled again and I was pretty sure it had internally pipped and I also think I heard some chirping so I went ahead and put them in lockdown.
Well, that's nice to know! I've been telling myself they'll be fine since it's been dropping to 20-25 every night and they're doing great.
Also, is normal to see an egg wobbling on day 23? last night I was sitting next to the eggs and I heard something I looked up and one egg was wobbling a little!
The paper towel has worked really well! When I woke up this morning the humidity was at 35 which is definitely an improvement. I just candled tonight and it’s hard to say but I think one is trying to internally pip!
That is one of the problems. When I lift the bottle it's very hard to control how much water goes in and it usually is too much it gets to like 60-65 and I need it to be around 40 since the airsacs are a bit small. So the highest it's been is like 75.
So I bougth a cheap incubator off amazon since I'll probably never use it again and I didn't want to spend a lot. So far I have 4/6 fetile eggs. The temp has been great but the humditiy is not doing so well. Instead of a spot to pour water in it has a water bottle and I can't get it to work so...
So today is day 20 and I candled last night and all the eggs looked somewhat like the photo above, but one looks like it’s dead.
Should I go ahead and take it out?
