I knew how strong it was thanks to Facebook friends who knew i was getting ready to leave for southern Ohio to cover an event. 91 mph winds when it left Fort Wayne Indiana, hit the event with 80 mph winds. I stayed put and it hit here at 10 pm...few trees down but we were lucky, never even lost...
Glad to see the WV's growing! I will be hauling some EE's to teh sale next week unless anyone local wants some (Eastern panhandle) $2 each, range between 1 -3 weeks old with a few that are fully feathered....also have loads of Eastern Wild turkey poults!
LOL, I will be driving through...
They can kill every last one of them IMO! Here they get wacked!
Being this was on state property, I did not feel obliged to kill it as its against the law:/ We had a 51 inch 10 rattle one here a while back, had<---lol
Hey berkeleysprings.....found this across the street from ya last week!
I have been on the road non stop so I missed the chicken events:(
I do have some meat turkeys for sale, 8 weeks old and doing very well if anyone is interested!
I'd gladly take a roo from ya, but need to get the meaties off to processing and the next batch in here before I take anymore! Then i would like to get a few hens to match him.
The gardens are loving this rain, now it will be a race to see who wins, me or the onslaught of weeds!
Just found this thread.
Located in between Berkeley Springs WV and Hedgesville.
Started to turn this place into a farm in 2005 but got really sick, now re-focused and getting things done:D Its taken almost 3 years to get the main lot ready for buildings so its a work in progress
