I haven't been on here in a while, but I wanted to share some exciting news! Looks like we're going to have an APA Poultry Show in WV. First step will be to start a WV Poultry Club. If you're interested let me know. I'm not the organizer, but as I get information I will be sharing it.

if you are going to buy started birds, I would recommend you buy the whole flock at once - adding birds later can be a challenge, and it can cause illness in the flock.
Anyone near Charleston interested in Lavender/cuckoo Ameraucana - I have 12 chicks available right now - $8 each. This is a non-standard color for the breed.
I used to have midget whites and blue slate turkeys. I got them because they have a better feed conversion ratio than the bigger birds, and are healthier if you want to keep them longer. I do know that my turkeys were the friendliest poultry I ever owned

could be worms - wazine - follow directions on the bottle or it could be a multitude of upper respiratory illnesses - I prefer tylan to treat these - both of these are available at TSC
I've got CLB eggs and Welsummer eggs out the wazoo right now - I've been auctioning them, but wanted to give locals a chance to get some via pick up rather than shipped. They are both quality lines/birds. If interested PM me.
I have an egg skelter - they are pretty - but they aren't as functional as I thought it would be. The eggs tend to get going vertical on the bars instead of horizontal and they get hung up on the cross bar support. They are a great conversation piece and the eggs look stunning on there though.
