Baking a beautiful loaf of GF bread made me happy today. I made a "heel" sandwich. I shouldn't have sliced into it while it was warm, but it was delicious. PBJ on warm home made bread... :drool

All my plants are in the garden now. Hoping for some significant rain today/night. Also, we had two things ordered that were supposed to come today... and they did! :th :love :yesss:

What will make be extremely happy today would be to get the rest of my garden starts planted, and the rest of my to do list done as well! I'm working on 2 of them right now.

I've grown them... I was unimpressed. Tried them for two years. I almost always give poor performers a second chance. Mortgage Lifter and Cherokee Purple are on my "Disappointing; don't plant again" list, sadly.

Yesterday was a very productive day, and it led to a very good night's sleep. Copy and paste on today, I hope!

I got a lot done today! I dug out a lot of heavy clay soil, got it moved. I might be feeling this tomorrow. That's ok If it's rainy, I can take a nap...

Got a lot of brome and weeds dugs out of the heavy soil garden. I "harvested" a bunch of grubs for the chickens as I dug up weeds. I'll probably feel it tomorrow. :rolleyes:

Hubby's $400 darkroom supply order arrived via FedEx. It was delivered to our house (I saw the guy at the neighbor's and pointed out where to go), and nothing was damaged!

Is the beet for flavor or color? I'm not particularly fond of beets... Yellow beets are ok.

I have to make some. I like sweet pickles and dill pickles. Which flavor profile works better for eggs, or does it just come down to preference?

A nap made me happy today. After a poor night's sleep, I really needed it. It put my day about 2 hours behind, but since it rained off and on until 3 pm, I just puttered around inside anyway.
