I ensure mine come from a reputable brand. I also make sure they're the big ones. I also have a dock so I can just buy internal hard drives instead. Those usually last longer.
Oh, I agree with the person who said others need to get a life. If the people are complaining, they should have one spot they feed the birds, and nesting boxes so you can get free eggs. Problem solved.
When I build my palace I'm gonna put a drain in the floor for that. That way no one can stop me from having birds inside.
I've had a bit of damage from the chooks here. They've spilled water, broke a remote, and used some stuff that they shouldn't have as a loo. Thankfully no real damage...
Downsides being chicken poo, noise, and the hens expecting you to drop your food in a heartbeat?
It's getting to summer and I'm looking forward to chooks in the office here, but not the poop.
I think I may have had one purr on my lap, cat style. I thought that was the weirdest thing ever.
You are giving me terrible ideas. Now I want chickens in the house.
My family does steamed frozen veg a lot. It does not have the taste that unfrozen has. The veggies also taste steamed.
Mmm, packaged junk is so good though. Hard to resist.
I come from a large family. "family size" is way too small.
I wish there were more local places to buy good food, but lots of people will just go to buy pre packaged junk since good food is not a priority for a lot of people.

Not sure if you're interested in seeing a Leghorn @Shadrach but here's one.
The way you capitalized Dill, Basil, and Corriander made me think it was some chicken's name.
(Well, now you have names for your next chickens whenever chicken math gets its grip on you).
