Fancy Nancy is getting her feathers back! Thank goodness, it has gotten to freezing at night. I just put up a blanket over the door to keep in heat, they also have a light in their coop, not for heat, just to lay. LED don't have heat.

Fancy Nancy is getting chilly from the fall weather. I was going to put her under a heat lamp, but she was not having it. She does feel like a little brick when I pick her up so she is eating.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. She as been looking rather cold lately.

She thinks she is beautiful, though. I do too.

People try and give advice on fancy Nancy, on how to protect her from other hens during molt, but I do nothing since she is the top hen.
