What did you do in the garden today?

Me too. In fact, if I get something that is too spicy for those fissures, all my taste buds fall off. Then I can't taste anything for over two weeks until new ones come back up. Allergies are just flipping glorious.

Ask the store manager to hold some back for you. Mine always will work with me. If not the manager, then the meat manager. Most are more than willing to do a customer convenience order or hold.

Oh ya, Alaska fish fertilizer is amazing stuff! (since I don't, knock wood, have fish falling from the sky here) Found the 'leaks'. I missed putting the end caps on two of the main lines. HA! 4 trays of finely diced onion now in the freeze dryer -1 tray is a sweet onion and one tray of Mexican...

What did you do in the garden today?

All this years tomatoes are in the ground, tied, fed, and watered. Only 25 plants this year. That feels weird. I have a leak in the irrigation I need to figure out later today. It's hiding in the horseradish.

I grew it in Florida and Alabama. It goes insane there. It likes the warm days and nights, and the LONG season. Getting it to grow and produce much north of Arkansas is a challenge, but you can get one or two or three.

What did you do in the garden today?

Sadly, it's not the dogs fault. I chase them off the cattle. If the rancher ever catches them over there, he'll do them in.

What did you do in the garden today?

My driveway is 3 cars wide and almost 400 yards long. We tried the salt, vinegar, dish soap thing one year. Didn't work.

What did you do in the garden today?

Doesn't work on live ragweed, especially ragweed coming up in seasoned wood mulch, ahem. ( have one, a small one and a LARGE one)

What did you do in the garden today?

OK note to self (and everyone else here) RoundUp no longer kills ragweed. It's not even on the list of things it kills on the new labels. I wish I had seen that a gallon and $$ ago. Grumble. Spectricide still has it listed. The ragweed is coming up fast and furious, pulling and hoeing, I cannot...

So, you're saying you're the new ground zero for the southern luffa invasion, akin to kudzu. Noted.

What did you do in the garden today?

Right?! It's more like a massive sprawling shrub, with poof balls and DANGLING glasses of champagne and orange juice hanging from the branches.

What did you do in the garden today?

Same guy who lets his dogs run wild and lets them chase calves. He's scary and I won't go near him.

What did you do in the garden today?

That said I do spray the firebreak. Pulling and fire doesn't work. Heck. I sprayed this year and the weeds laughed off the new round up formula.

What did you do in the garden today?

Yep. I'm registered and lost 1/2 my orchard at the beginning to asshole neighbor spraying 2-4 D on a windy day. I've had another spraying weed and feed on a windy day about choke me out of my own home. >> Last pre-ordered tomato plants have gone home with the owner last night. The remaining...
