    Do you want the way Greeks pronounce it, or the way non Greeks say you should? Because I'm not qualified to answer the latter. If the former is what you're looking for, we pronounce it "HA-RI-V-DI". The "s" isn't even a part of the Greek spelling of the name (Χάρυβδη)...

    I actually have no clue. Scylla is easy because it's a word used in modern Greek (outside of said tale). I'm not sure that the actual Scylla and Charybdis have an exact translation, although they might Scylla is more so a wordplay, if you will. The modern day Scylla and the Scylla of the tales...
