Coccidiosis between dogs and chickens

So earlier today, I had to toss some dead chickens out of an enclosure that I'm pretty sure died of coccidiosis. I left them laying out while I put up a quarantine cage for some of my chicks and got them switched over. By the time I was done (maybe an hour), my dog had picked up 3 of the 4 chicks I had laying out and hid them. I was able to find one that he buried, but I haven't found the last two. He's not one to eat dead animals, but he might try to chew on them some. I'm wondering, is it possible for a dog to get coccidiosis from eating a chicken that died from it?

Coccidia are host specific. Dogs cant get infected by chicken coccidia and visa versa.
