I will post more details about this quail tractor at some point. It works great and the Quail seem to love it. In the pics there are 60 Coturnix Quail hens and ten roos. They really love eating bugs and leafy greens. -

This article could use build details and pictures of the build in progress, etc.

Also chicken wire isn't predator proof, so using that instead of hardware cloth could result in a loss to predators, so if replicating this build I would change that.

Do you move it around your yard? Is it heavy? Nice design.

Yes it is moved once a day and no its not heavy. One person can easily move it. The quail have learned to walk along to the new grass..
