Everyone!! I am incredibly excited to announce that there is a brand new variety of Orpington! May I present...the "Opal Orpington" as it is called at the present moment. According to credible sources, it was developed for the purpose of ornamental/showmanship/production. To create it, experts bred a White Orpington with a Jubilee as well as another unknown variety. It supposedly lays blue eggs and is cold-hardy as well as heat-tolerant! TSC says that they're expecting the new chickens to come in about 2 months. Keep a look-out!!!!
