If you are like me, you want to plan how much you will be spending on your cute chicks ahead of time. First, to see how many you are able to get, and second to plan what you need to buy.
I found these pictures concerning, on average, how much each chicken will eat and weigh per week as a pullet. I got this from a chicken keeping book I found in my garage. It was published 1944, during WWII. (Isn't that cool?! I love old books!) I thought I would post this in case it might help someone.
The first pic is for Barred Plymouth Rocks. The last two are for Leghorns. There is a symbol key on the bottom of the last pic.
