Additional Information | Chapter 275-41 states: the raising of chickens or ducks for personal use shall be considered an accessory use in all single family residential zoning districts, and shall meet the following requirements: Up to a total of 4 chickens and or ducks allowed per single family dwelling No roosters No slaughtering Chickens and or ducks shall be kept within a secure enclosure enclosures shall be located no closer than 25 ft to neighboring dwellings and a miniumm of five feet from the property line. Chapter 175-5 states regarding noise nuisance: Noisy animals or fowl. The keeping or harboring of any animal or fowl which by frequent or habitual howling, yelping, barking, crowing or making of other noises shall greatly annoy or disturb a neighborhood or any considerable number of persons within the city. |
