This is Nugget. She is from some eggs we purchased that were supposed to be show Quality Barnevelders.
Well,. as you can see,.. she's not even pure Barnevelder,. neither are her sisters,.
We call them our Welvelders,.. they are smallish birds and look like half Wellie and lay dark speckled eggs,..Oh well,. we love our Welvelders and their speckled eggs.
This is Juanita,.. a BA pullet,.. only 4 months old here,..
would rather be with people than chickens,.. heads straight for the fridge if she can get past you into the house,..
would do anything for a grape.

This is an egg that one of our neighbor's hens laid. It is really pretty and looks almost like a fake marbled egg.
