I love the look
My chickens would love that so much !
Nice coop! Good use of photos. Clear directions
:frow Hi fellow Metro Portlander. What a Great Build!! Excellent use of space and efficiency. Your narrative and photos were extremally helpful.
I love this coop! Very attractive, neat and tidy. Plan's are easy to follow, lots of photos and descriptions. Great job!
WOW!!! If I was a chicken I would want to live here! absolutely gorgeous and extremely well thought out!
This is a great coop! I love the style and colors and it fits well in the space. Great article, good details and I can relate to the humor. Awesome job!
Very Nice! :thumbsup
I love some of the ideas incorporated into this coop. The directions are wonderful and the trip through the making of it was fascinating! I want my husband to make me a few of these.
Wow, great coop! I love how you thought of some many practical issues. Ans it looks great too! Thanks for taking the time share your story so detailed, loved reading it. Wish you many happy chickens :thumbsup
I have a similar narrow situation; my first flock was on the other side of the house and I’m going to move or build the structure on the more narrow side now.
Love your coop! Thank you for sharing your great plans...very clear! I am encouraged to try to build now thanks to you :) #coopgoals
i feel like i cant give high enough praise for this coop. it is a work of art the plans are so well done the whole thing down to the very last board.... amazing...
Speechless! ?
Wow, you did such an amazing job on your coop/run and article! What a great testament to your well thought out descriptions and pictures that someone could go ahead and build their own with your plan. Fantastic work!
What a great design! I adapted my version to make the coop itself 8 feet wide by 4 feet deep, and made the bottom of the coop a bit taller (heeding your advice about wanting more space under the coop). I also added a second egg door to allow for 4 nest boxes. Other than those modifications (and a paint job to match our brick house), I followed your plans which were excellent! My biggest challenge was dealing with warped 2x2's, which made it tough to get everything exactly square. But I pushed ahead and "forced" it all together. :) I also dug 12 inches down below the coop/runs and put down vinyl coated hardware cloth as an underground fence - we have lots of foxes and raccoons roaming around. The whole project took about 2 1/2 months total. Awesome design and instructions - thank you!!! Our six chicks LOVE their new home!

Pics are from the coop warming party :)

WOW!! That is so crazy seeing a "duplicate" of my coop. I like your version so much better! I wasn't really sure if posting my building experience and including plans would help anyone or not, but I'm soooo glad you were able to put them to use and make improvements. You did a fantastic job and I hope it serves you well in the future!. Your Coop Warming Party looks so fun! Why wasn't I invited? Thanks for posting pics, you totally made my day!
