HOOSIERS! UNITE!! There are actually 2 older threads for Indiana. Lets get together and make this one active for all of our benefit! After a few confusing months of trying to contact someone to get on Indiana's thread, I've since found out The OP's just aren't active anymore.

This is for those of us that want a place to share local info, from breeders to processors. Food mills, veterinarians that will treat a chicken if necessary. Fun stuff like poultry shows, and just let off steam

if we need to! I started keeping fowl after being away from it almost 30 years. Some of this information was pretty hard to find where I am at, BYC has helped a lot.

Looks good. Ive been keeping poultry for bout 7 yrs now got into cause of my girlfriends daughter showing in 4h she had 2 plymoth rock bantams. We know breed and show the wonderful Langshan in large fowel in blk,blue,and wht and bantams in blk,and blue also have a couple pair of oegb and a new trio of devanders our total is well over 50 now. We are in Lafayette IN

hello i have a flock of about 40 and still trying to get more. Glad this thread was made! Lets keep this one active and grow. Im from Silver Lake which is in the northern part of the state.

I will contact a moderator to add anyone that's willing to keep us going. We need several people to contribute and help keep us active! The trick is to have people active and willing to edit, add and make our thread alive.I grew up in lake county. Been a resident here 49 years (- 8 months, born in Michigan) There's a huge amount of people involved in poultry here. Many just need a link to start.

Hello, we have 16 hens and two Roos, the Roos are from my daughter and they are bantams I would have gotten rid of them awhile back if they were full sized cause they both have a attitude.
