My husband runs the lab here at the hospital and today there was an accident... He was preparing for a test on someones blood when the glass tube broke in his hand an cut his thumb... OMG I'm literally sick right now, he rushed to the sink and cleaned up but it was too late

he was already contaminated. He went downstaris to the ER and he ran a full panel on his blood and sent out all test on himself an the patients who's blood who was in the tube, hopefully it will be alright, but you just never know working at a hospital! What is even more terrifying about the whole thing is that my husband was the third person to be contaminated by this patients blood, I have no idea how it happened to the others but it's just a completely freak accident, normally they use thick plastic tubes for these test, but they ran out and had to use glass.

I'm so upset, my husband won't let me touch him as far as intimately goes, he told me that if he contracts HIV or Hepatitis he is divorcing me because he doesn't want me or our daughter to get sick... I'm so scared

My husband got his and the paitents test results back!!!!! ALL NEGATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Now, wish us luck, it's baby making time!!!

Oh Honey my heart goes out to you ... I can't imagine what you are going thruogh ... My heart and prayers go out to you and your family... I will be praying for you and your husband... That is terrible sorry i'm just at a loss for words...

Pray , trust in the lord, be the shoulder for your husband , and the rock for your child ...

Father God, we lift up this family in prayer. You know the situation they are facing, you know their fears and concerns. Please protect all the people involved in this. Draw them closer to You and fill them with Your peace and loving presence. We don't understand why some things happen, but we know that Your plans are greater than our own understanding. We don't know why this family has to go through this difficult time right now, but You are carrying them all through it. Protect them, Lord. Amen.

I'm sooooo sorry you guys are going through this. I hope if something has happened, that your hubby realises that it will be hurting you more for the divorce. There are marriages all the time of people where one has HIV and the other doesn't. You can still be intimate, just use precautions. By him pushing you away because of this may cause issues in the long run even if nothing is wrong. Don't let this incident push you guys apart. It's obvious from the statements here that you guys love each other, and love should be stronger than anything.

You will be in my prayers. Man, I'm in tears myself right now.
