Recently, I had my roo Blu inside because he was sick. Unfortunately, he did not make it. In the meantime, he was lavished with meals of scrambled eggs, yogurt and many other yummies. He manners were just exquisite, um well sometimes! I would like to document how a REAL roo should eat when accompanied by a lady.... um... sometimes.

When starting out on a meal, do make sure to clean your face and feathers. Do not sit down to a dirty face. Blu did this after seeing his reflection. Thank GOODNESS he saw this and cleaned up.
When the meal is served, start with the soup. In this case Blu was served a chilled peach yogurt soup.

It is BAD manners to tip your bowl to get more by slurping!
But he soon learned...
That is is not attractive to have soup on your face.
Its not easy to slurp soup upside down either!
The main course of scrambled eggs and peach yogurt side came next. First things first....
DO NOT TALK WITH YOUR MOUTH FULL FELLAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But he was great when it came to eating slowly. Blu was such a picky eater.
Most importantly, Blu was so graciou and thanked me for the meal.
Only before giving me the stink eye because he was not getting coffee and desert.
I am sooooo lucky my babies love their momma!~
