Hey friends,I am really frustrated from all the west of lumber on construction sites, see my proffision is excavating/Landscaping.Yesterdayy I had to clean up a site for one of my customers and I sewar by god that I filled up 3 Dumbstors with wested Lumber, most of it is perfect for chicken coops,I took as much as I can with me but the problem that I am afraid to turn my backyard into a Landfield, and by the end of the working day I was so tiered ,that I had to through a lot of the lumber I took away because there isjust no more place on my 25' trailer for my loader and the Lumber.I am posting this to reminde all of us: please check the dumbstors on construction sites bevore going to the Hardware store.
Thank you.

It's amazing how much wasted lumber can be found at construction sites. My profession is an official dumpster diver these days. It's good that you are able to help divert this lumber from the landfill as well.

I grew up around a landfill and a condo construction dump site. We had 4 floor
tree forts with all the wood we would find. Plus, a local printer, would dump thousands
of "adult content" magazines at the landfill. What more could a young boy want, a crazy
tree fort and all the dirty mags he could read.

I don't really care what you do for a living as long as you bathe at the end of the day

In the 80's I had a paper route that covered 21 miles. You should have seen all the treasures I brought home because I was out there before the sun came up. The best of them were 3 antique milk cans, found on separate occassions , and I sold them each for 50-200 bucks. The other was my water faucet outside was leaking, and the plumber wanted 250 bucks to replace it because the parts were not made anymore. Luckily, someone that same week threw out some old plumbing stuff, including a few faucets, and what do ya know-they were the same ones I had.

Oh God, my mother is the WORST you have ever seen at finding "treasures" onthe curb and such. We all pick on her til she finds something WE need LOL!! Also, she had a yard sale here this week and made like $900 dollars, on stuff she FOUND IN THE TRASH!!!! I ain't a laughing no more, I'm holding the flashlight while she digs!!!!!!!!
