Hi there VickisChickis. I have been looking for an old fashion way of opening my chicken coop's front door without the heavy price tag. I'm old and retired, and must do things on a tight budget. I could not recall how my deceased husband set things like this up. I sure do thank you for including your wonderful photos, especially the red coop's door with a string pulley.
I think I can now get the parts that I will need to accomplish the task, before the cold air gets colder, here in the great Northwest. Thanks again. 70s Laverna
