This is our oldest Blue Double Laced Barnevelder, Col. Sanders.
Col.'s turn, love this breed! They are so curious, smart and very good foragers. They run up to greet me when they see me. They also have a sound all their own, not the average chicken talk.
Here they are, Col. Sanders is keeping a close eye on the oatmeal eating making sure everyone gets their fair share. The little roo in the back is the one and only Black Double Laced we have, still working on his name. The middle roo in the front is a Blue Double Laced, my oldest son is still working on his name.
Our lonely Blue Double Laced Barnevelder pullet, Lovey will soon have friends.
