    I haven't seen my roosters do that. I actually monitor my roos calcium intake.

    Well... I've watched my girls pick out the eggshells from the crumbles and set them aside.

    I agree with crushed eggshells. I recently added some to my girls crumbles.

    My cousin has a few French Black Copper Maran Roosters if that helps. My rooster is a very good Roo, but he's getting old. And I know the difference between a pullet and a Roo. Just an FYI.

    I think it was back in the 80's when I ran a knife through my hand, and I don't remember if I had a tetanus shot at that point.
