Hi! My name is Zion Wilson, I'm 15, and I've had chickens for about 10 years. I had always wanted a dog or a cat when I was younger, but my mom didn't want any indoor pets. So my aunt surprised me with 8 chicks and my love for birds started there. I even still have a chicken that's still alive from my first 8! Her name is Chipy and she is now 10 or 11 years old. Over quarantine, my boyfriend and I raised his own flock of 4 hens (cinnamon, ginger, maple, and pepper). I have my own hens at home (Peggy Schuyler, Charlotte Doyle, Oreo, and Chipy). My birds are my babies and I love them so much! I hope to learn more about chickens and facts about them in this community!
