    I made two dozen one inch square ice cubes with freshly chopped mint. Gave them to my 4 RIRs and they didn't show any interest. This is my greatest challenge. Everything I do to help them stay cool goes unnoticed. The only thing that has worked so far is cooling the water reservoir with ice.

    The size you describe is about the size of a large Pyrex baking dish (Think lasagna.). That would work too.

    Daily routine with your flock

    Hen limping , lethargic, watery poop.

    My Rhode Island Red is one year old and is exhibiting the same limp and the description Songster gave of the poop is right on for my hen too. What is it? What can be done?

    New member information from 31322

    I used to have two Rhode Island reds when I lived in NJ. Now my husband and I have retired to Georgia and want to have chickens again. We're planning to add them in the spring.
