about 3-4 weeks old, I have none of these right now, so I gave it a mix of fruits with some water just for tonight, I did cut the second worm in piece, the first one was really tiny.
I saw somewhere that people suggested to spit on it and let it sit for a while so the enzymes would digest...
Yes, I know, it's illegal, but do I care? No. I'm here because I need help, so if you're gonna tell me that it's illegal and I should call a wildlife rehabilitator (There are none) or leave it to die (out of the question) you can close this tab or move on to another thread
Now if you actually...
I would keep him if I could :/ But I'm moving to another university in Cali, and you can't have pets, otherwise I'd have taken him with me.No the backyard is quite open, the only place he could hide is under the shed, but then again the neighbours on both sides have cats...
I take him out everyday, once is the morning once in the evening. He's not in a cage or anything just some big enclosure. I made it as big as I could.
We go find some bugs and worms for him to eat
He was drowning, his mom nowhere in sight
And well, I don't think anyone would take him, besides it's not like the ducks in the lake never met humans before, as I said its a college campus, and people handfeed ducks every day
I've done it before and the ducks were just fine
