Thanks for your advice on this! She’s made a full recovery but now I’m wondering, is this something likely to continue? Do I need to continue supplementation or could it be a one time thing?
I do have rooster booster I could add to the water for all if that’s helpful.

I’m sorry you lost your hen like this, it’s always such a tough thing. To me, it looks like a hawk grabbed it and dropped it from the air like then tend to do, but then must have gotten scared off before anything further happened. Let’s see what others say but in any case, I’m sorry for your loss!
My gal had slightly darker feathers than a pure breed but never black feathering in the shoulders or chest. It’s hard to see in the picture, is there black coming in on the chest?

Some Faverolles that are hatchery quality (like mine) might have some off standard coloring in the wings, face but I’ve found that any black that shows on the chest or shoulders is a male. The wings here make me lean cockerel but the tell-tale sign will be the chest. Here’s mine at close to four...
In my experience, marans have faster comb development than some breeds. However, to my eye, I’m seeing two, possibly three cockerels based on these photos. Let’s see what others have to say!
