    I also show and eat my birds. Pet quality = cull quality, not good enough in type or otherwise to breed onward but could be a suitable pet for someone. I’d never rehome a bird with issues.

    I succumbed to the clearance dying petco betta while picking up frozen mice for my snake yesterday. Oops. Little dude was practically free and I had all the stuff to give him a shot at life, so why not? He is currently acclimating to the hospital tank and looking wayyyy better.
