I tried luffa seeds but haven't had luck. Besides that and strawberries, everything else is my normal! Onions, peppers, thyme, and rosemary! I want to try garlic one day. I'll be planting marigolds and sunflowers today, probably!
Once they're fully featherd should be fine. Usually 6-8 weeks old. I say a month is too young to move out permanently but you can take them out during the day for a few hours so they get used to it.
Do you think she might be egg bound? Can you try soaking her in warm water and Epsom salt and see if that helps? I read to soak for 15 minutes, let dry and keep separated from the others. Can repeat soak an hour after she dries.
We have bait stations and haven't had any issues with the chickens. Their response is accurate. The only thing sticking out of the ground is the cap that is screwed shut.
