I'm wondering if I just have a bad broody, or it's too hot it. It's been in the 100s. I started with 8 eggs, by day 17 only 3 seemed viable (this one in particularwas moving a lot).. one ended up leaking yesterday, rotten. I'm hoping my last one is viable. I have low hopes though. It's day 21...
We're on day 21 of my broody sitting on eggs. When she got up for food and water, I quickly shined my flashlight to see if there was any pips or what's going on inside. This baby is a gonner, isn't it? No movement at all. I only checked one because she came back, but wanted to see what ya'll think?
Violet got up to stretch her legs, so I shined a flashlight (I did pick it up, but didn't change it's position and stayed over the nest box. It was a quick 5 seconds.. if that) to see if baby internal pipped. I think this baby is gone. From pictures I found of 21 day candling, this looks nothing...
