Why is my broody hen eating her eggs?

Hi, I have a Brahma broody hen that has about 16 eggs due to hatch on March 12/13. This morning I went in the coop, and she had yolk on her face and there was a part of an egg shell on the ground half way under her chest. :( I don't know if my other hen tried to push her out of the nest, or...

    Get em' fat faster?

Hi!- I'm raising 30 Brahma and Barred Rock roosters for meat. They are about 4 1/2 months, and I butchered 2 last week, and the only weighed about 2- 2 1/2 pounds butchered weight. Any suggestions on how I could fatten them up faster? Also, I'm feeding them 2 times a day.

Hatching My First Shipped Eggs-- First Pip!!!

It's hard to tell early on...usually by about 6 weeks it's relatively easy to spot. Males crests and tail feathers tend to comes in much faster then pullets. Would love an update! I have never hatched with a Rebtoabor, so I am sorry, I can't help with that:( Have fun, and enjoy raising your chicks!

Review by '' on item 'Indian Runner'

I love my Indian Runners! They are great birds. They tend to be not so human dependent once they get around other birds. My youngest was always begging for attetion until she left the brooder and joined the flock. Overall, great choice for anybody. I would highly recommend!

Overrun with Runners? Is there such a Thing?

"Texas" (My most favorite runner duck! He's a sweet boy with a bubbly personality!) I can't say enough good about Indian Runners! Maybe I'm a little bias, but I sure do love my ducks! They are friendly, fun, and just plain cute (you can correct me on that if you have a different opinion)! Aside...
