    Update, I am home and she’s limping a lot less, and she’s roosting. I’m still planning to treat my flock for slm this week but she’s doing really good!

    I will! I’ll also be treating the whole flock when it gets warm. I’ve noticed a couple other chickens getting swollen feet again.

    That’s good to hear, I’ve been very paranoid lately, I’ve lost almost half of my flock from a dog attack and have had a some water belly and mystery illnesses take out others so I’m trying to be really cautious for the rest of them.

    I don’t have ivermectin right now but my weather will warm up by Wednesday so I should be able to treat her for slm then.

    yea I’ve had a couple cases like that, it makes it easier to make the decision when you know what happens when you don’t.

    It was done on a hard surface, and she didn’t flap because he was holding her still after the blow while she died. I’ve had to dispatch a couple raccoons too but weirdly they never flopped around for me.
