    I was considering purchasing the brinsea ovation 28ex. I work away from home long hours a day and don’t have time to baby sit the temperature and humidity but I’ve heard good things about. Any reviews?

    Bad hatch rate GQF 1502 help

    I’m getting about 50-60% percent hatch rate. I always have ones that come spay legged and crooked toes. Humidity been 45-55 first 18 days and last 3 days 60-70ish. Any recommendations

    Sand or pine shavings for bedding?

    I put a tarp over my dirt floor, would pine shavings on the tarp be fine till April? I just need it to keep them out of the weather.

    No pictures right now. It's a enclosed building and I'm in Kentucky I just wanted to keep them out of the weather and get a early start on some chicks. I'll just be using it till April when the weather gets a little better.

    I got a 10x10 indoor building for my chickens. I put a tarp down to keep down moisture and mold so I was debating on play sand or pine shavings or both. Which one do you recommend?

    Could I mix corid and ls-50? Or is this stuff even necessary, raised chickens all my life and never used vaccines or medicated feed but I would like to raise even healthier chickens than I have been.

    This winter I keeping a few chickens in a warm coop. With this help get the hens broody or am I wasting my time till spring? Should I go ahead and buy a incubator?

    This winter i have a 10x10 building that is enclosed I'm going to put sand in it and a heater. I'm doing this so my eggs don't freeze if they lay while on at work and unable to collect them. After the heater and sand it, should I put a ventilation fan? I'm going to clean the droppings out once...

    My hen just hatched some chicks, should I put them in a 4x4 pen on the ground or a 3x3 pen off the ground with a plywood floor? Both will have heat lamps

    Looking for a incubator that is very easy to use and me not have to do much but not wanting to spend 1000 on one. 150-500 is my range. Like to get one to hold 75 plus eggs

    Brooder help!?!?

    Can I enclose my brooder completely like a 2x2 with a lid and light bulb? I have no way to heat and can't afford anything else. It gets around 10 to 0 degrees fahrenheit and like for day old chicks to get warmer than 10 degrees. Also can't bring them inside.
