Hi! I have a flock of chicks at about 6.5 weeks old of assorted breeds. I only have one SLW, for the first 4 weeks or so she was the smallest in size compared to the rest of her flock but a LOT heavier by a pretty big margins. When you pick her up you can feel that she is a solid dense nugget...

nah they are from a place called Sunnyside. the other chicks in the same batch are all lively and fine.
she didn't make it btw, my husband just cried the first time in years after watching her die 😔
the warmest spot is around 95F, except she can't move out of the way if it gets too hot or cold because she is completely limp and cannot walk. she still breathes, will flap her wings a tiny bit when I move her, and had let our some very very faint chirps but basically not moving at all. :(

i got this SLW as a "pullet" from a hatchery, raised from day old chick to 5 weeks old today. i had always wanted a SLW but can only keep hens. this is the only SLW in the flock.
her comb area is redder than every other chick in the flock, but not quite bright red. and her wattles are pink...
