I cannot tell if these babies, (nicknamed The Three Fates), are male or female. They are about....5 months old? Please help me out.
Do I need some ladies? Do I have a mix? What's going on here 🤣
My ducks are laying more eggs than my 20 plus pullets! I am sure the younger group is of laying age but no red combs etc. Everyone except maybe one or two girls are light red or pink.
I have 4 female ducks btw. I get 1 or 2 chicken eggs a day. Also lost 2 layers lately. Dolly (I'm still sad)...
I have around 25 pullets (probably more), and I am getting ZERO eggs now. Last week, it was 4. Even the ducks aren't laying. Though I'm pretty sure it's bc I havent found their new nest. Maybe.
Either way, my girls aren't laying. About 10 of them are 11 months old, a bunch are about 10 months...

The brooder is full ish though. It is holding 11 babies. I could've swore I had 12, but I didn't see a baby body.
Will...

Atropos is a broody hen who is brooding next door to where Dolly was. She wasn't bothered. Makes me wonder what happened. And my camera outside quit working so of course I have no video. Uuuggghhh.
Chicken wire. But it has an open front not back. We also have 5 ducks and 2 goats which should have helped to deter predators. They've never been bothered before.
My broody hen was murdered last night. She was sitting on about 7 or 8 eggs. She was missing her head and neck, and all of her eggs are gone. What kind of predator can do that? And it tried to get into the brooder and now all my baby chicks and 3 guineas have figured out they can escape and they...
