Hi , my Buff Orpington’s are about 25 weeks old now and have layed no eggs as of yet. With darker nights setting in and nearly October will I have to wait for spring until I get their first eggs ?
Not being impatient just curious as would like to hatch some eggs out in spring . Thanks

Hi one of my ducks has cracked a little bit of the side of its beak it was bleeding a little and it’s still eating and drinking fine and I’ve sprayed it with some antibacterial spray is it anything to be worried about or should it heal fine? Thankyou

Hi I’ve just candled my ducks eggs that are sat under a broody hen , it’s day 9 now and they’re all developing really well and I want to leave her to it now . Will I have to worry about candling again or will I have to keep checking for no blood rings ? Thankyou
Hi I’ve just candled my Aylesbury duck eggs. Its day 7 , and 6 of the eggs have clear veins and the other 2 are just clear and No veins and can’t see anything. Do I Chuck them now or wait a bit longer? Thanks ☺️
I might need to get them some oyster shells it’s just bit unusual that they went from laying every day to not laying in over 3 weeks just a bit strange.? Do they usually take long breaks ?

I have 4 Aylesbury ducks and I’ve just given them fresh bedding there currently not outside at the moment as it’s too wet and within 1 hour of changing all there water , the water is already brown and muddy . How do they manage to make it so muddy when the hut is super clean?😂
