Hello.
I am sadly writing to look into Rehoming our four chickens.
We are moving soon (it was not anticipated!) and are unable to keep them. They just began laying eggs and are lovely birds!
Attached photo shows three of the four. I couldn’t get the last one in the photo :)
Hi!
This is my first year raising chickens (we have 4) and they are beginning to regularly lay eggs. I’ve seen many posts on safe handling of eggs but I had a few questions.
I have decided to refrigerate our eggs. I know many say to refrigerate without washing to preserve bloom which I plan on...
Hi! New chicken owner here :)
I purchased our chicks last week from Tractor Supply and I didn’t ask how old they were. (Rookie mistake!)
Anyone have an idea of how old our girls are?
And with that information, any idea of when they’ll be ready to move from the brooder to the coop? For reference...

Thank you. My husband is going to be building the coop and covered run next weekend. They’re currently safe in the brooder in the garage where they’ll stay for a some weeks. I hope I used correct terminology! :)
Hi!
I posted earlier about wanting to rehome the four pullets my family purchased today and now I’m having second thoughts. Let me explain!
After bringing them home my sister questioned whether it was safe to raise chickens during this time of the avian flu spread. With three young children I...
Hi! I’m in the CA Bay Area and purchased 4 pullets today from Tractor Supply (2 golden sex link, 2 Barred Rock) and I have realized I’m in over my head. I am looking to rehome them. They are happy and healthy and ready for someone who can care for them.
Thanks!
