    Hi, I am from the U.K. and the temperature ranges from 11c to 6c over the night time. I have three old chickens, is it warm enough for them to stay outside in a small coop with a run with a heat plate? Thanks

    I hatched some chicks over 3 days, and I have two smaller ones. There wings look funny, like they have been burnt. Could it be from the heat table i have or are they getting bully? Thanks

    yes as it was skink wrapped but i left the bottom on the shell, and put it back in. it's freed its self from the rest. however i think it might of caused damage. it's trying to move, but i don't want to open the incubator as there's other eggs which haven't hatched. don't want to mess with the...

    So the one egg has hatched, but doesn't look right. i can see a cord coming from its bum and not sure if i can see something yellow. its been 5hrs and its not stood up yet.

    So one chick is pipped through! there alive. How do I increase humidity? the new incubator is an old one and can't tell me the %. I have sprayed water over the eggs, as i'm worried the shells are hard. I don't want the one egg which has pipped through to dry out.

    Hey, update. 21 days was yesterday and no eggs have hatched 😢 i changed the incubator on sunday to one working, so temperature has been spot on. i candled them on day 18 a i think they have grown since day 13. could there be a delay if temp dropped for 12/16hrs last friday?

    Having a nightmare! they temp went back up to 37.6c and just checked and it's down to 27.6c. Anyone know why a machine would do that?

    I hope you're right! Not sure really, I took the lid off to last night to add water for humidity, so maybe I didn't put it back on properly. However, when I saw it was at 22c the lid seemed to be on right. hopefully it doesn't happen again!
