    What breed is your favorite in your flock?

    buff orpington ^^ they're so round and cuddly and make such dedicated broodies, and when they're not broody they lay eggs the most consistently out of any of the breeds i have. my olive egger is a close second, she's not particularly cuddly but she's so curious and is always the first at my feet...

    My new Mama chicken has an injured leg

    I've heard that their muscles can atrophy if they're broody for too long, so in absence of obvious injury it could be that, but I'd follow what @FluffyDucky123 said before writing it off ^^

    Throwing feed in the ground?

    I throw my flock's feed on the ground and they like it just fine. Unless they're getting big mouthfuls of dirt with their meal or the little bits of feed left on the ground attract pests, I wouldn't worry.

    My baby chick was killed last night :(

    goldfish seem easy, but they're actually quite deceptive. technically they're carp, so they have the same growth patterns and potential that carp do, which isn't really conducive to living in a bowl or a small tank. they also produce a HUGE bioload compared to other kinds of freshwater aquarium...
