    Also, just for reference here is the 10x10ft dog pen. I haven't predator proofed it yet so they are only aloud out when supervised

    Yeah! I was thinking about a solution for that actually! I just dont want to get something that might hurt their little webbed feet.. What do you think of those Stick-on non-slip pads for furniture? we have some of those laying around..

    Not the best craftsmanship I know.. 😅 but it is at least structurally sound and sturdy. I have a vent hole at each end as well as the giant window and door.

    I have a 10x20ft canopy on its way thats going to cover both the coop and run for that exact reason and for shade. I plan to strap it to the run and reinforce the legs for added stability

    Thanks for the heads up! I do currently have chicken wire on all of the openings on the coop(plan to upgrade to hardware cloth asap!). The window does slid open for added ventilation and it's also not air tight when close so it'll hopefully help in the winter as well.

    Should I go all the way up the side or just a few feet up? Hardware cloth is pricey! 😅

    Thank you! Yeah I'm gonna use the 10x10ft dog pen as their run and let them free range during the afternoons and weekends when we are home
