Hi there! I am looking to add a Silkie Rooster to my flock of 14 hens! Within the flock I have 4 Green Queens, 7 Silkies, and 3 Frizzles. About 6 months old. All are super friendly and get along great. Looking for a docile gentleman. I am located in Michigan near the Ohio boarder.

I currently have a dust bath (just dry dirt) for the little ladies but it is suuuper dusty. How can I cut down on it? Any tips?

Hi! I have 3 day old chicks. Right away I noticed my black silkie wasn’t putting much wight on her right leg, even keeping it a tad stretched out. Could this be a minor case of splayed leg? I have been trying to treat using vet tape wrapped around legs but still looks the same when we take it...
