    Most of the time shimmer will get 6-12 inches off the ground when running down the incline in the back yard. But she is getting better. This am she got about 3-4 feet off the ground and landed gracefully.

    Thank you for getting him. Maybe the eye sight is reaction to sun light exposure and lack of adequate diet. But time will tell. Try drenching his food and chopping up the greens just like a gosling. He has to learn how to forage like a gosling.

    I put mine out at 5 weeks. They did great. In Idaho at that time, the night temperatures were 34-40 and they did fine. I of course worried but the four of them were active and ready to be let out every morning. They will be turning 11 weeks on Monday. Enjoy your goslings.

    Oh no. I didn’t see that thread. How did he get cut up on HC? I have some windows at their height for them to look out covered with HC. Yikes. I hate it when animals get injured and can’t imagine bringing the 4 of them back inside. But so glad he is healing and doing better. Keep us up dated. :hugs
