Looks like we've found a wonderful new home for our girls. Knowing that makes it so much easier to let them go. Thanks so much to BYC for making this possible, and their new 'Mom':love
Wow, I'm so sorry your girl (and you) are going thru this! I can't really offer any advice but maybe @biophiliac , @BantyChooks , or @KikisGirls can help you out.
Best of luck, sending prayers/positive thoughts.
Aww so cute! So nice to hear your taking care of her.
We recently had a starving mother cat come to our house and started feeding her. About 4 days later she brought all 5 of her kittens! She stayed for another week or two and then left. We're pretty sure the kittens are around 12-16 weeks old...
Love to watch the girls come running and chase each other around, while snapping up the little dried bits of goodness! If we're not careful, they'll grab the whole bag out of our hands! It's so much fun, a great way to bond with our feathered friends and wonderful entertainment!:D
We don't...
Hi :)
I am moving halfway down the coast and we can't take our girls with us. :(
We have have 7) 18 month old White Leghorn hens. They usually 7 eggs every day, sometimes 6. They even laid all winter.
All the chicken stuff we have, including the coop, are free to a good home. You don't have to...
Ok, we're trying to figure that out nest relocation right now and try that first.
Wasn't sure if she even would lay more eggs, that's good news that she could just make another nest. :)
Thanks!
Haha, this actually is not the first time this had happened, we didn't realize the cover had fallen off.
Thanks for the heads up on possible legal issues as well.
Thank you for responding! :)
I wasn't really sure where to post this, but because unhatched eggs were involved, I chose this one.
As the title states, we found this nest in our dryer vent hose.
Long story, but it's been there almost 3 weeks...? We didn't realize there was actually a nest in there, until two days...
