I'm kind of late to the party, but how has this incubator worked for you? Looking at a similar model on Ebay. I'm tempted by the fact that it's plastic and... to be honest, cheaper than Brinsea.
I didn't, actually... I sold that batch of ducks when we moved and didn't get more ducks until recently. My current flock is mostly adolescent WH from Holderread with an older khaki and runner I got from a neighbor. I keep meaning to get more Golden 300s someday, I really liked them.

Augh, I actually got enough free time to even think about posting here this weekend! This forum is too addictive to visit very often. haha Anyway, I have a litter of farm collie crosses on the ground right now, and they're juuuuust hitting that age of ultimate cuteness! (4.5 weeks, if you...
Love my Katahdins and random Blackbelly! They mow/fertilize my pasture and provide me with meat and money from babies, but they also come running the minute I set foot outside. :)
I just wanted to add a bit to this thread, as it inspired me to try out a tunnel-style community box. Sorry that I didn't take pics before I put it into service, but the box itself looks like the average nesting box with a hinged roof from the outside. It's 7'x14"x14" with a bit of slope on...

One thing you'll never spend a lot of money on...

I know a local breeder of Golden Comets who sells her baby roos to herpers. I'd never thought of the option, but told her it sounded like an excellent idea - no waste! Maybe hatcheries just don't realize there's a market?
I've got to hand it to Twitch... once she gets down to it, she's all business. I've only been watching her for an hour and she went from eating to baby on the ground!
