I apologize for the extremely late response. No Connie passed away a few days after my last message. I think it ended up being from old age so she passed peacefully at least.

The others don't stop her from eating, she is at the top of the pecking order so doesn't get pecked away and she has access to food. Yesterday I tried feeding her scratch and food by hand but she would just peck the pieces and then drop them.

How often do you think happens? Will this happen a lot when breeding? Also do you know if it affects their health or anything or does it only affect their appearance?
