My Buff Orpingtons are 8 weeks old. All are doing great! I’m pretty sure all but one are pullets. What do you think? Roo or pullet? All pictures are of the same Buff Orpington-she’s 8 weeks old.

Do you have any old pics of when your BO hens was a chick that you can post? I just see so much red in mine and I don't know if that is normal for my growing pullets.

For those who have Buff Orpington Roosters, can you post pictures of when your rooster was a chick? I would be so grateful! This is my first time with BO and a lot of my little ladies have red around the growing crowns and under the beak. They are 4 weeks old. Perhaps a little red is normal...

Definitely going to be updating!! Time will tell. So far I feel confident on a, b, c...and I'm "eh" on e. But that d, f and g...I don't know. Going to keep my eye on those ones.

I love seeing everyone's feedback on sexing chicks. I think it's fun, even when" time will tell". Currently, I have 7 baby chicks that are 85-90% guaranteed pullets. I know giving it more time will solidify my suspicions. But nevertheless, guessing is fun. Isn't it!?!?:thumbsup I have seven...

I went with Cackle Hatchery. Maybe the two girls in question are just bossy girls? I'll just have to wait and see how their combs come in. They are only 2 weeks old. Need to be patient🙃
