    Incubator temperature

    I hatch all color eggs together, Some one just wrote me and said do not hatch Marans eggs with other colored eggs. I called people who raised Marans and all they said was to dry incubate at lower humidity for Marans.

    One of my oldest hens lived until she was 13 and she laid eggs too. Plus she had only a stump for a leg. Got under a horse and the foot was popped off. We taped a popsicle stick on it until it healed. PS we renamed her Peg Leg. She was a red cross link hen.

    I've more pit bull dogs eat though the chain link s pens and kill chickens. Once a pit and a chihuahua mute killed 26 chickens just for fun. The chihuahua carried afull grown chicken home with him.. My neighbor saw them... Get rid of the dog....

    Grab him and carry him around for a while. Do it each time you feed. He soon learn to stay away from you... Personally he would have already been Chihuahua food at my house. Your children could lose a eye with a bad rooster.....
