Great news for them all🩷. 3 lbs is great for a Silkie roo. For yrs our Silkie hens averaged 2.25 to 2.5 lbs which seems to be a comfortable weight for our girls to carry around.

The green should be only the cuke plant seedlings, the white/silvery are vermiculite pieces & some white lime powder & white Azomite powder. Any other green is just camera discoloration.
We have hot brutal spring/summer/fall heatwaves so the vermiculite retains watering moisture in the soil...
Add some soil & a little tree fertilizer to the pot each year & I've had outdoor container plants last for several years sans any disease or pest problems.
It's always fun to try . I've often done plantings that weren't supposed to work & was surprised. Other times I did ideal conditions I got nothing.

Yes, great to be in the soil & plants again. Broke my right humerus in May 2024, had a plate & pins surgery in Jan 2025 w/ 8 months therapy. The rotator shoulder needs surgery but it would require removing the humerus plate & pins & inserting a rod thru thr humerus afterwards... nope, I'm fine...
