Hi, the Foremex ended up housing 6 Minorcan hens and a rooster. The coop has been great and is currently empty as it’s been moved so it will be sickbay/new hens/chicks. As needed by current needs.

Part of the stress of tracking is the USPS no longer shows all the tracking information.
When the box leaves Cackle, it goes to the local post office then to Kansas City and then to the next distribution center, after Kansas City, I get no updates until it arrives at my local post office.

I have a 2 year old very large NJG rooster and he sometimes lays down or stretches out. He has done it more since I reduced the size of the flock. He has trapezoid style roosts and he sits under one at night.
IMHO, usually a few days and they’ll go back to a normal routine. Raccoons will return, I’ve added electric fencing around the perimeter fence and it helps with all ground based predators.
I have 6 of these I caught on sale. At first the New Jersey Giants ignored them and I removed the wooden nest box setup they had. They lay in the boxes and break very, very few.
They install in minutes and can be relocated just as quick.
This is the first year since 2014 that I don’t have new chicks. I have for coops and 110 hens who are all laying and the oldest is just over 18 months.
