I knew that when they get to laying age their combs start to really redden and grow. I just haven't seen one so dark. The others had more of a flesh/pinkish comb as pullets.
It doesn't matter what she is, just curious!
This is Elizabeth, she was in the bin labeled Blue English Orpington. But clearly that's not her breed. She's roughly 22 weeks old. I have no idea what she is, but it looks like she's got a really dark colored comb and almost black beak. I love her dark chocolate brown color and almost chipmunk...

This is the video of the sussex with the skin issue. The other chick with the lame leg continued to decline so we put her down. With the sussex, her skin doesn't seem to be improving. She still eats, drinks, and walks fine, but does seem to be progressively get...
Update
She's not improving. Ive attached a video. We discovered another girl who was stumbling and sitting weird. I'm attempting vitamin B to help her incase that's the issue. Our sussex is still the only one with the horrible skin issue.
I'm at a loss for what else I could do. At what point do...

Thank you so much for that information! We are still fairly new to chickens. So I appreciate all the insight. I'll switch to just the starter feed for now and get the vitamin B. And attempt another bath.
Currently I have them on a non medicated chick starter and grower and mini layer pellets. I have 3 full grown birds and then 6 of the "teenagers". So I tried to make sure they had both. Occasionally they'll all get cracked corn or black soldier fly worms for treats.
And for bedding I just use...
Update
She's definitely gething worse. Still nothing on the other chickens. I attempted to give her a bath, in hopes to relieve her skin and ideally see/remove any lice or mites I see. I didn't see any bugs or any kind of clumps at the base of her feathers or vent. Her actual skin is so bad and...
