Yes to the toes, they don’t seem to bother the chickens at all (they can’t get in the coop). I fling the beasts over the fence that doesn’t have a neighbor by it 🙂
We have a rat problem. There, I said it. We have 2 rat zappers in the coop, when I find a dead one or two, I grab a glove and take them by the tails and fling them over the fence. The hawks take it from there.
